This frosting was named, because of a socialite who decided to ask Waldorf Astoria for his recipe for this amazing frosting. He decided on the astronomical price of $300, which was a lot of money at the time. The socialite was so upset that he charged her, that she decided to share this recipe with everyone for free. This recipe is unique, because it has NO powdered sugar. It is super creamy and would not work for floral designs. Great for icing a cake, though. Check out this recipe and let me know what you think?
